Latchways Personal Rescue Device, Rescue Pole, PRD

The MSA Latchways PRD is a lightweight, unobtrusive personal rescue device integrated into a full body harness - built for crews working on cranes, masts and elevated structures in shipyards and ports, where assisted rescue can be slow to reach a suspended worker. In the event of a fall, the device lowers the person gently to the ground or deck in a controlled descent, removing the suspension trauma risk of waiting for rescue. The 20 m Aramid rope system deploys automatically, and the integrated design adds minimal bulk over a standard harness. EN361:2002 and EN341:2011 Type 1 Class D rated.
